Eerste camping bij het Lipno meer. Helaas regent het hier de hele tijd.
Huub & Twan vinden deze 'modder camping' wel mooi.
De volgende dag vertrekken we naar het noorden omdat het daar beter weer zou zijn. We gaan naar camping 'Vaklav' bij Cheb
Het kasteel in Loket. Er is o.a. een martelkamer te bezichtigen. Alleen Huub durft er naar binnen...
Na wat onenigheid op de camping (er mag geen waslijn gespannen worden) besluiten we naar een andere camping te gaan. We komen 10 km verderop in 'Camp Carel' waar we een huisje huren.
Het bevalt Erna niet zo goed in Camp Carel. We gaan weer verder en komen op een camping in Kyselka. Er zitten hier alleen nederlanders.
Heinrich Mattoni
About 1890 In 1864 the Count of Neuberg hired out the Otto Spring to Heinrich Mattoni (1830-1910) a Karlovy Vary exporter of mineral water. Six years later Mattoni bought the whole of Kyselka from Count Cernin. With admirable energy he started to build up the spa and to export mineral water. He had a modern bottling house and a distribution department with houses and stores built in Kysibelka. Spa houses, hotels, promenades, colonnades and a hydropathic centre followed. Mattoni also invested in a new improvement of the springs so that they could be need. In 1894 he built a new railway line leading from Vojkovice-on-Ohre to Kyselka. The export of Mattoni mineral water increased considerably. While in 1867 250,000 bottles of Mattoni mineral water had been exported, in 1910, the year of Mattoni´s death, 10,000,000 bottles were sent out of the country for sale. In about 1880 Mattoni mineral water ranked among the best known sorts of mineral water in the world and it has retained its reputation up to the present.
